Sinead O’Hare, LCSW, EMDR Trained, Clinical Hypnotherapist.

My passion for helping others heal is rooted in both my professional experience and my own life journey. Growing up in Northern Ireland during a time of violence and uncertainty gave me a firsthand understanding of trauma, resilience, and the profound impact our experiences can have on our emotional well-being. Those early experiences inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others find healing, hope, and lasting transformation.

For nearly 2 decades , I have worked with individuals facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, Victimization and complex life challenges. My experience includes working with crime victims, forensic populations, First responders, and individuals navigating some of life's most difficult circumstances. Through this work, I have witnessed the incredible capacity people have to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, trauma-informed, and holistic. I believe true healing involves more than symptom reduction—it is about helping individuals reconnect and remember who they are, connect with their strengths, restore balance to their nervous system, and create a life that feels aligned with who they truly are. I specialize in trauma treatment, including EMDR, Breath work, Clinical Hypnosis, Somatic Processing, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the individual.

My mission is to help  First Responders and people move beyond survival and into a life of greater peace, purpose, confidence, and connection. I guide people back to their own soul, remembering that you are your own healer and I will help guide you back to your own light. Whether you are healing from past trauma, navigating a current challenge, or seeking personal growth, I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and transformation.

I believe that healing is possible, that hope can be restored, and that within every person lies the capacity to create meaningful and lasting change.

    Testimonials

"The year I’ve spent working with Sinead has brought about the most growth I’ve experienced in the last seven years of personal development and psychotherapy. As a psychiatrist I can say without reservation that Sinead’s methods and understanding of the human condition are far beyond what I’ve experienced elsewhere."

    -J.P

"Sinead is amazing every week the progress I make. Her techniques and she makes you feel so comfortable."

    -E.P

"Therapy with Sinead has been life changing for me. Between EMDR AND psychotherapy I am a better person. It has allowed me to see my past experiences in a different light. I no longer have crippling anxiety. I have learned to love myself as well as be more present in everything I do. To have compassion and understanding for myself and others. Today I have goals and have accomplished more in life than I have my entire life. I have a better sense of self-esteem and self-awareness. I am very grateful for Sinead and the different modalities of therapy that have made a huge difference in my life!"
